Kane was momentarily taken aback.

He let her hand go but didn't let her top up her drink.

“Whyy?” she pouted. It was kinda cute.

“You've had too much to drink,” he told her. A mischievous smile played on his lips. He wanted to hear more of what she had say about him.

She reached for the bottle again. He grabbed her hand quickly once more. But this time when she looked at him, his heart melted. She looked like she was going to cry.
