KANE'S POV

I haven't slept...not really, barely a wink that kind of sleep that means anything. I close my eyes, yeah, sure. I lie down, but my mind stays loud too fucking loud. Everything’s noise from her scream and the way she held her head like it was splitting open, the look on her face like she wanted to disappear. Made my heart clench hard.

I can’t stop hearing it and I can’t stop seeing it.

But on the outside, I’m calm like super calm...i mean I have to be.
