He jumped out of the black van, hoping they had come before Renzo's group. 

Men hurried out of the cars behind, and began to creep up the open field.

“Keep your eyes open.” Egan yelled, even as he saw one of the men fall to the ground, blood spraying from his chest.

He and Sam jerked their heads up to look left. 

“There’s a sniper somewhere.” Sam said, just as Egan yanked him to the left, seeing the red dot on his head.
