Egan looked away, still holding Primrose’s hand firmly. Another Latina to contend with for Primrose. 

He tried not to smirk as he saw her and her cousin’s eyes widen at the thought of the Tamales meal.

“I have not had that since Aunt Mia died,” Sol said.

Primrose looked teary-eyed as she hugged Mrs Martinez again. “Thank you.”
