Lila's POV

I didn't see that kiss coming, but I'm happy it happened. Mason Sterling is falling deeply already, I could see it in his eyes and the way he held me when he kissed me.

The party ended, guests started saying their goodbyes and leaving the grand hall. Mason's hand never left mine, it was like he was scared I would disappear or something. I'm not complaining though, this is exactly where I want him.

We said our goodbyes to Mr. Sterling, Ava and Nick.
