"So, you think that way about me?" he chuckled bitterly.

"Not that it can be helped. But, my wife, no matter what you're thinking, I can't let you go."

I knew it. I should have known that when I entered this world and into his arms, there was no turning back. If only I knew the truth, I could have accepted whatever came my way.

But now that I was in the dark, it was hard to stay somewhere without knowing everything. The stress was too much.
