Shutting the door behind me gave a deep feeling of satisfaction. My new office smelled of lavender and leather. Warm sunlight seeped into the room through the windows, casting golden lines over the polished desk and walls. My lips curled into a small smile at the sight of my own mini bar with a bucket containing a bottle of champagne with ice all around it. A silent gesture from Leo, no doubt.
