The click of the prison door locking behind me hit me like a gunshot. The cold floor I was thrown into, the stench of sweat and bad breath sent more pangs to my chest. In total disbelief, I held and stared at the orange prison clothes handed to me. It pressed in on me, squeezing my body like it owned me and we were joined together forever.
