Zara’s POV

Leo killed the engine of the car as we pulled onto our driveway. For a moment, neither of us moved. The air outside was cool, yet inside the car, heat surged through my body with how much tension was between us. I could feel he was still so angry at me for what I did.

“Come on,” he said, voice low and distant. He got out before me and slammed the door harder than usual. I sighed before unbuckling my seatbelt and then got down.
