Something was wrong here.

Something had been wrong all this while and I berated myself for not having noticed all this while.

Lord Marshall did not care about his daughter. It all started to make sense now. That was why he had not cared if she had a corpse at her wedding or if she had to marry someone she cared nothing for.

But why had he done so?
