AKBAR’S POV.

I walked around my men in circles, inspecting each of them, for any sign of betrayal.

Last night, I woke up some minutes to midnight when my wolf sensed a strange energy hovering around.

Out of all the apartments at our castle, mine was the most protected and this was because of the large numbers of warriors that I had.

But last night, all my guards were asleep and all attempts to wake them up after I sensed the energy was futile. ...
