I hugged Akbar immediately after he’d turner off the rice cooker.

I hugged from behind, embracing him with all my heart.

He was taken aback, “Hey what are you….”

“Can we stay this way for a while please?” I asked, trying to control the tears that was threatening to fall from my eyes. “You’ve been through a lot. Let me share this pain with you….. please”
