The following morning I woke up with a crick in my neck, my face buried in soft and sweet-smelling sheets. Fluttering my eyes shut, I squinted at the harsh rays falling on my face. There’s a strange feeling in the pit of my stomach, warm and jittery, body disoriented for a couple of seconds. As I tried to move, I felt a heavy limb sliding down my waist. 

My omega was still under the chokehold of the heat.
