That next morning everyone was already outside doing stuff and things felt way calmer than they had in forever like maybe the pack was finally getting back to normal after all the crazy that happened and it almost felt peaceful and the ground making sound under my feet when I walked outside because it rained all night and some people were fixing the busted fences while others cooked breakfast by the fire and honestly it felt almost like things were okay again even though nothing really was.
