I got there right when the boss reached Jax and threw myself between them with my shield up and when he hit me it knocked all the air out and sent me flying and I hit the ground so hard everything went black for a second.

When I could see again Jax was over me fighting the boss and they were moving crazy fast and then Jax's blade went deep into the boss's chest and the big rogue made this awful sound and dropped.

Everything got quiet after that like someone hit mute and the other rogues ...
