It was difficult to sit with someone and have the thought of another constantly barging into your head rudely and relentless.

And it didn't help that he was just a few tables from me. A few tables that felt like he was in my breath space.

Worse, I caught myself wishing I was with him instead, wondering who that boy was. He didn’t resemble Grey, not like my Sam, with his mirrored features completely or Sophie, with her inherited fire and attitude from him.
