I noticed after the call that his mood had altered and he became a bit uptight. He caught me giving him a suspicious glance but smiled and told me we should face our meal.

The meal was a delicious dinner of pasta with vegies, chicken and meatballs. There was a chilled bottle of wine to end it with and after some time his mood had softened despite the fact he still appeared on edge.
