“What?” I implored in surprise and a hint of fear and he nodded. “That explained why you had been on edge these recent days.”

“Yes darling,” he affirmed and placed a reassuring smile on his lips. “But you don't have to bother, it's all under control.”

“There’s no way I can’t bother with it,” I contested running my fingers through my hair which I had let hang loose on my shoulders and back, provoking the work I had done with the brush become a mess.
