CHAPTER 3 MEETING HIM

I opened the door to my office, I was greeted by a beautiful bouquet of flowers on my desk, accompanied by a box of chocolates and a card. The sweet fragrance of the flowers filled the air and I couldn't help but smile as I picked up the card and read the message inside. "To the most beautiful girl in the world, have a nice day. Signed, Mike." I sighed, feeling a mix of emotions. This was not the first time Mike had sent me gifts and I was starting to feel a bit uncomfortable. After the conference a week ago, Mike had made it a habit to send me gifts daily but I had made it clear that I was not interested in him romantically. Despite this, he continued to send me gifts and messages, and I was starting to feel like I was being pursued.

I put the card down and sat at my desk, trying to focus on the task at hand but my mind kept wandering back to Mike and his persistent advances. I was determined to keep our relationship professional but it was getting harder and harder to ignore his flirtations.

Just then, my assistant, Blessing, knocked on the door. "Good morning, ma'am," she said, smiling. "You have a meeting with Priscilla, the model, at 6 pm. Priscilla is a top model and a fast-growing one at that. We wanted to use her for the upcoming product as the face of the product. She is known for her beauty and exceptional acts. I was lucky to get a meeting with her today when I heard she was in town.

I nodded, taking a deep breath. "Okay, thank you, Blessing. Can you please make sure everything is ready for the meeting with Priscilla?" Blessing nodded and turned to leave but I stopped her. "Wait, Blessing. You can have these flowers." Blessing's face lit up as she took the bouquet from me. "Thank you, ma'am."

I picked up my phone and made a call to my dad, "Dad, how are you?" I asked, concern etched in my voice, immediately he picked up the call.

"I'm fine, dear," he replied. "How about you? How's the company doing?"

"We're doing well, Dad," I said.

"That's great news, dear," my dad said. "I'm proud of you.

By the way, dad, how's mum doing?"

"She's fine, dear," he said.

"She's just been busy with her charity work and Christi is doing well too."

"That's great to hear," I said smiling. "I'm glad everyone is doing well. I'll talk to you later, Dad,i have a meeting to attend."

"Okay, dear," he said. "Take care, and I'll talk to you later."

I hung up the phone and took a deep breath, feeling a sense of relief. I was grateful my dad's health was getting better

I arrived at the coffee shop where we were meeting, I was struck by the beautiful architecture of the building. The coffee shop was located in a two-story building with a sleek, modern design. The walls were made of glass, and the roof was covered in lush green plants. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with comfortable seating areas and soft background music.

I spotted Priscilla sitting at a table, sipping on a cup of coffee. She looked stunning, as always, with her long, curly hair and piercing green eyes. Her slender figure was accentuated by the fitted white dress she wore, complete with a gold belt that cinched at her waist. She had a peaceful look on her face, and she seemed to be enjoying her coffee.

As I approached the table, Priscilla stood up to greet me. We exchanged pleasantries before sitting down to discuss the contract. The conversation flowed smoothly, with Priscilla asking insightful questions about the product and the campaign. I was impressed by her professionalism and enthusiasm.

As we discussed the contract, Priscilla mentioned that she would be traveling soon. "I'll be going to Paris for a fashion show," she said.

"But I'll be back in time for the photoshoot." "That sounds great," I said.

We'll schedule the photoshoot for as soon as you get back and we'll make sure to send over all the details and schedules for the campaign so you can review them while you're away."

Priscilla nodded, taking a sip of her coffee.

"Sounds perfect. I'm really excited about this campaign. I think it's going to be a great opportunity for both of us".

I smiled, feeling a sense of relief. "I completely agree.

Just as we were about to finalize the details, a commotion erupted from a nearby table. A man, clearly intoxicated, was shouting at his companion, a young woman who looked visibly shaken.

"Why would you do that?" he yelled, his voice echoing through the coffee shop.

"You're just a hoe, aren't you?" The woman tried to calm him down, but he wouldn't listen.

He pouring his drink on her face. "Don't you ever come close to me again," he said, standing up to leave.

. "Excuse me," I said, standing up and walking over to their table.

"Is there a problem here?"

The man turned to me, his eyes blazing with anger.

"Mind your own business," he snarled.

But I stood my ground. "You don't have to talk to her like that," I said. "Even if she did something wrong, this is a public place, you should take it somewhere private

The man sneered at me.

. "Who are you to tell me what to do?" he said. "You think you're better than me?"

I felt a surge of fear, but I didn't back down. "I'm just saying that you should treat her with respect," I said.

The man stood up, his fists clenched. "Do you know who I am?" he said.

"I'm someone who can make your life miserable. You don't want to mess with me." He raised his hand to slap he lady but before he could, his hand was held by someone . I turned to see who was holding his hand, I saw a tall young man he should be in the early 30's ,his chiseled physique accentuated by the sleek black top that hugged his broad shoulders and chest. His eyes, a piercing blue, sparkled with charm, His strong jawline and sharp facial features were perfectly proportioned, giving him a ruggedly handsome appearance that was impossible to ignore. His dark hair was perfectly messy, adding to his effortlessly cool demeanor. As he smiled, his full lips curved upwards, revealing a hint of mischief and charm.

"Hey, that's enough," he said, grabbing the man's arm and holding it in place.

"Apologize to the ladies." He said

The man struggled against the his grip, but he couldn't break free. "I won't apologize to anyone," he snarled.

He's face turned stern. "Apologize, or I'll make you apologize," he said.

The man refused to back down and his face turned red with anger,as he launch a punch towards the guy who came to the rescue.

The guy was fast enough to miss the punch and he quickly released a punch aiming for the man's face and he stumbled backwards. The guy followed him, punching him again and again until the man fell to the ground. "Apologize," he growled, standing over the man. The man looked up at him, his eyes filled with fear

. "I'm sorry," he muttered.

The guy who came to the rescue nodded and then turned to me and the other woman. "Are you okay?" he asked. I nodded

"Yes, thank you," I said.

The other woman nodded, looking embarrassed. "Thank you," she said. "I'm so sorry about this. I smiled. "It's not your fault," I said.

"You don't deserve to be treated like that." The woman nodded, then quickly gathered her things and left the coffee shop.

I watched her go, feeling a sense of sadness as I turned back to my table.
