The air inside the room was thick with tension. Gray stood in the middle of the suite like a storm trapped in human form. His hands trembled, not from weakness—but from barely restrained rage. The room felt too small for the fury burning inside his chest.

“How long,” he asked slowly, “will it take your people to track that vehicle?”

Mitchell lowered her gaze.
