Camilla’s POV

As George's body arched strangely and his bright blue eyes met mine, the hospital room was silent. The constant blaring of the monitors had given way to a panicked warning as my heart pounded in my chest.

"George!" His body trembled, and I yelled, getting up from my seat. With his hands extended to support our son, Lawrence sprang toward him, but he appeared to be repelled by an unseen force. He grunted and staggered back, slamming into the wall.
