Lawrence’s POV

As I struggled to regain awareness, pain shot through my body. The air smelled strongly of smoke and dust, and my ears were ringing. The chamber was in disarray, with debris all over the place, walls that were splintered by sharp fractures, and the distant hum of crumbling buildings.

"Camilla!" My voice was tight and rough as I croaked.
