In the morning, the first thought that enters my mind is the memory of last night.

I will never forget the bonfire, not for as long as there is life in my body. I'm so haunted by everything I was told that I don't know what to do with myself. I feel this tremendous guilt that I know has nothing to do with me but that I can't shake off.

I feel ashamed, too.

But nevertheless, I have to go on like nothing is wrong.
