The room they’ve dragged me into is not at all what I was expecting it to be.

It’s luxurious and spacious with red velvet walls and a golden chandelier. The bed is enormous, and a few feet away from it is a balcony with open windows. The carpet is soft and luxurious, and there’s even a bathroom.

This room is fit for a queen, not a prisoner, and it makes me even more terrified of what’s to come because I know Marcus. I know how he thinks. Why he does certain things.
