“You’ll sleep in my room.”

He said it so casually, as if it were no bigger than asking someone to pass the salt. But the way Lena’s head snapped toward him, and the way Isabel blinked twice like she hadn’t heard him right, said otherwise.

Isabel opened her mouth, closed it, then managed, “I-- what?”
