“Stop!” I yelled.

I had to intervene before they got into a fist fight right in front of me. I had seen Kaelan enraged, and I knew that he could be dangerous. I also knew that although Thorn was younger, he wasn’t a match for Kaelan, and I didn’t want to be here to watch that happen.

“I asked you to stay the hell out of this,” Thorn barked at me without taking his eyes away from his dad.
