Thorn

I tossed and turned on my dad’s bed, allowing me to have a good feel about the bed.

“This is all mine now,” I said to myself.

I was still basking in the euphoria of everything that was happening that I didn’t bother with leaving the bedroom. I had even almost forgotten that Moses was right here with me.

Everything felt new to me.
