One Year Later…

I was watching the decorators fix the flowers where they ought to be when Lauren joined me.

“You have been watching them long enough, Seraphina. It’s time for your makeup to be done,” Lauren told me lightly.

“I just want everything to be perfect,” I told Lauren.

“I know, Seraphina. They are already perfect enough,” she told me.

She led me back to the hotel room and I sat down and the stylists got to work.
