To pass the time, Felix asked Mercedes for a dance. Mercedes was flustered as she didn't know the first thing about dancing, but for Felix, she was willing to try.

“ I don't know how to dance. I am afraid I might step on your feet,” she said as she hesitantly took his hand.

Felix smiled.

“ Don't worry about that. I will lead you on this dance. Stepping on my feet is not a problem.”

“ Okay,” she whispered, barely audible.
