Adriana's POV

I shut my eyes in fear when Diego held my wrist and I was waiting for the worst to happen. He took my hand and placed it on his chest.

I waited a few seconds with my eyes still shut but there was no movement from him again so I opened my eyes to see that he had fallen back asleep.

“Phew!” I sighed quietly.
