Adriana's POV

{One month later}

As I stood in front of the entrance door of Diego's house, my heart raced. I felt a knot form in my stomach as I stood, hesitant to enter inside the house. I sighed twice, hoping that my racing heart would calm down.

I tightened my grip on my suitcase. I exhaled and opened the door, the door moving at the same slow pace as me. I stepped inside.
