My vision blurred, and a cold sweat broke out on my forehead. Juan, who had been kneeling beside Camilia, froze. His head snapped up, his eyes widened in alarm as he heard my desperate screams.

“Adriana, what is it?” he said. His voice was laced with panic and he scrambled to his feet, rushing towards me.
