“I don't know, Juan,” I said. I haven't made a decision yet. I'm still trying to process all that you said.”

“It's alright. Take your time. I just hope you make the right decision.” Then he stood up and headed for the door. “I'm leaving now. Get some rest.”

I nodded, a faint smile on my face as he left the room.

When he was gone, I lay down on the bed, heaving a sigh of relief. Juan's words echoed in my head, making my mind race.
