There’s nothing anyone can do to get me into a tie. I wore the jacket that’s good enough. The ball was in full swing. Rachel organised a good ball, that’s for sure, but there was no sign of her. A part of me was concerned about her being heartbroken, but at the same time, I wanted to give her space.

“Where is she?” I grumbled as I fished out my phone from my back pocket.
