Summer POV

“Kid, where are you going?” Dad barked.

Of course, he hadn’t left the pack house. He might have been cross with Ezra, but he was Dad’s Alpha and best friend.

“Anywhere but here,” I said with a sigh.

“What happened?”

“Dad, you knew about Sophia, didn’t you?”

He tugged on his collar and stared at the dirt. “Uh… yeah… but how did you expect me to tell you about Sophia when I didn’t know you were going out with Ezra?”

Good point, I couldn’t even be mad ...
