Ethan opened his eyes first and glanced at the alarm clock on his own bedside table. It read 600am, he turned to admire his wife with her hair fanned out on the pillow.

Smiling at the memory of last night, he tucked a stray lock of hair away from her face. It had taken some time and serious work to convince her but he did.
