Lucas pulled up in his Lamborghini in Aria apartment. This was the first time he was coming to her apartment.

“Wow! Mummy. Look! Daddy’s here!”

Irvin was so happy that he went to get the door for Lucas.

Immediately Lucas saw him. He carried him in his arms.

“Wow daddy, your car is so beautiful.” He said.

“It’s yours too champ.” Lucas gave him the keys and he ran to the car circling in awe.

Lucas scanned the apartment with his eyes. It wasn’t so bad but his Pent house was way better than this.

Aria came out of the room putting on a black dress with high heeled shoes.

You look so beautiful Aria. Lucas admired her.

Thank you and you look as dashing as ever Lucas.

He smiled which made Aria smile in return.

Why don’t you want to come and stay in the pent house? There’s enough room and it’s more comfortable than here.

We have talked about this Lucas. This is what I can afford and I don’t mind staying here. Aria replied.

Lucas already knew that was going to be her reply. Even while she stayed with Lucas. She made sure she paid him rent even after Lucas refused. She threatened that if he doesn’t accept her rent. She will leave. So he just had to take it from her because he didn’t want to see her leave.

We should get going. Aria said, disrupting his thoughts.

Of course. Lucas responded.

He stepped out and opened the door for Aria and Irvin and they got into the car.

Within thirty minutes. They had approached the most lovely penthouse that Aria laid her eyes on. She knew Lucas had a taste when it comes to furnishing but this.. it was way better than Silver crest city.

Aria and Irvin stepped inside. “Wow.. Dad, your house is so big and handsome. I would love to stay here with you.”

Lucas smiled. Of course champ. It’s your house too . Lucas said, wrapping Irvin around his arms.

Your house is beautiful. Aria commented. Everything screamed luxury. The floors, the walls . She could even see the reflection of herself on the floor.

They were seated at the table when the maids came to serve them. After they were done eating. I Lucas signaled for Tracy to take Irvin upstairs to his room.

Aria was shocked. What do you mean by his room? Aria asked.

“I knew he was coming over and told Tracy to get the room ready for him. She decorated the room so well and also bought toys for him too.

When Irvin got to the room. He screamed and went downstairs and hugged his dad. “I love you so much daddy and thank you I really love the room.”

This moved Aria. Lucas had always treated Irvin as his son. He had always taken care of Irvin and her ever since he knew them. She knew Lucas has always had a soft spot for them.

“Thank you.” Aria said.

“You are welcome pretty. I’ll do anything for you and you know that.”

Soon they were settled on the couch about to watch a movie until Lucas moved closer looking at Aria with passion in his eyes.

“I have something that I’ve been meaning to tell you.” Lucas said.

“Go on. Aria told him. I have always loved you since the first time I saw you when you collapsed in front of the Rivera Tech Group. Since that day I’ve had eyes for just you. I knew you were going through a lot that’s why I haven’t said anything before now.

Aria knew that Lucas had always loved her. He had always helped her as much as he could despite her resistance most times. He didn’t just love her. He also loved her son as though he was his. She respected Lucas because he knew his boundaries. He has never for once taken advantage of her in the slightest. He knew his boundaries and respected her decisions no matter what they were.

“I want you to be my girlfriend Aria. I love you so much and I can’t put it off any longer. My heart beats for you Aria. I want to be your man. I’ll cherish you with everything I have. Please do not say no. Grant me this request, my Queen. I’ll forever cherish and love you.

Aria was flattered. She couldn’t believe Lucas Rivera confessed his feelings to her. She knew he loved her but wondered why he wasn’t bold enough to come clean with his feelings. But she was so happy. Lucas was very handsome. Though he was a billionaire, he was very humble.

Aria couldn’t stop blushing. This man she knew for almost three years had finally asked her to be his girlfriend.

“Why aren’t you saying anything Ari baby? Or am I not good enough for you.”

“Hush… Aria said, placing her hands on his lips. Don’t ever say that babe. Yes, I'll be your girlfriend.”

Lucas couldn’t believe his ears. He hugged Aria so tight and kissed her. This was the first time he kissed Aria. Her lips were so soft. At first, she held back a little but when she saw the passion that Lucas had. She kissed him back with the same energy.

Lucas couldn’t stop looking at her. He carried her in his arms and headed to the room. I love you so much Aria.

I love you too Lucas. She replied, kissing Lucas back.

Lucas drew her closer to him on the bed and hugged her tightly till the next morning.

Cora was blowing up Aria’s phone with calls but she wasn’t picking.

She had already called her five times and was on the sixth before she picked.

“Good morning ma.” Cora greeted Aria over the phone.

“Good morning Cora. Why are you calling this morning? Couldn’t it wait till later in the day.”

But Ma’am it’s 10am already. W.. what? Aria replied looking at the screen of her phone. Indeed it was 10 in the morning.
