I tossed the pill into my own mouth and took a swig of water.

I grabbed her jaw, squeezing the hinges until her mouth popped open with a gasp. I lowered my head and sealed my lips over hers.

This wasn't a kiss. I never kissed any woman.

There was no romance in it. It was functional. Dominant.

I pushed the water and the pill into her mouth with my tongue, tilting her head back, stroking her throat with my thumb to trigger her swallow reflex.
