Caspian didn’t let me go until Rowan’s wife gently reminded us to sit. I could barely breathe, my heart was pounding too loud, and all I wanted was to hold on to him. But Rowan’s wife pulled me to the side and told me I should let Caspian clean up, that he was covered in blood and half of it wasn’t his.
