The morning sun was already high when I opened my eyes. Light spilled through the curtains, warm and soft against the wooden walls.

I groaned, realizing it was late. I hadn’t meant to sleep this long. But when I turned my head and saw her, I didn’t regret it.

Nyx was curled against me, her breathing steady, her hair fanned out across the pillow. My Luna. My mate. My wife. Mine in every way.
