The chains around Elara's wrist tore into her skin as she walked behind the others, her tattered clothes caked with the dry blood from the beatings she received, heading towards the realm of the lycans.
The moon was shining bright, if only her life were that bright,
Ugh, Kaia grumbled when are we getting there my bones feel as if they will fall off my body”,
Hush”, before he hears you mutters Nai, she is always careful,
Elara didn't respond, her birthmark stinged painfully below her collarbone, it has always been there, every full moon it burns,
They arrived at dawn, the looming big castle the guards looking as if they ate her type for breakfast
I'm scared”, Nai mumbled
Nobody replied cause they were all scared,
Entering the palace they were made to kneel until he appeared
Eron the slave master was speaking quietly to his second, “he's keeping us waiting I have places to be”.
Quiet” the guard said harshly, the doors opened and he walked in,
Looking as massive as the doors themselves no other than. Kael the cruel king
Kaia mumbled he looks like he eats the whole guards for lunch” Elara giggled but she stopped immediately when he growled
Karl said “Why bring these disgusting bastards here,
Eron replied “They are the new maids needed Your Majesty, They can work hard and……
Silence”he boomed
They look frail, do you expect the palace to fatten them up”
“You brought damaged goods to the king how bold of you, whats your name?”
“E.e.eron your majesty, he stammered
Kael looked at him,” Kill them all and make it painful,
Eron fell “your majesty.….
NOW!!!!
Elara and her friends huddled up crying, she whispered “ he's so cruel
A plump woman walked out and said King Kael I need help in the kitchen, those ten bundles there will be fine, the rest you can butcher”
Take them he said
She barked well, you you, and you stand up unless you want to be executed she smirked, kaia, Elara, and Nai stood at once with others and left with her”
This is just the beginning of another hell.
PALACE OR PRISON
They entered a wide space, high-up ceilings.
“Welcome,” a voice rang out a frail woman, different from the one who picked them up. “Welcome, slaves. You all will be assigned different tasks. You carry it out and you get a meal for the day, and if not… well, don’t let me start.”
“You three, come here!”
“What are your names?”
“I’m Elara, Miss.”
“These are Nai and Kaia.”
“I believe they can speak for themselves,” she barked.
“I’m sorry, Miss.”
“Well, look at those three frail looking bastards. Listen up this isn’t your family. You work until you drop, and we tend to have lots of balls due to emissaries trying to get the King’s attention.”
“You Mara!”
“It’s Naia, Miss,” she said boldly.
“I don’t care. You’ll be in charge of washing the laundry.”
“Nai?” “Yes, Miss.”
“You will be cleaning the rooms and all.”
“And you” she grabbed Elara by the face and pulled her in
“You’ll be serving His Majesty meals.”
Her foul breath on my face.
“A little mistake, and you’re gone.”
She cackled while I shivered from fear.
Weeks on…
It was just a daily routine. Kaia washes, Nai cleans, and I serve. No mistakes or errors but nobody is perfect, right?
We were given just a tiny room for the three of us. Luckily, we weren’t separated, but we don’t spend time together either.
After serving the King, I was hurrying back to the kitchen when I heard a luscious laughter across the hall.
“Hmmm… of course His Majesty will be delighted to see”
I quickly passed, but luck wasn’t on my side.
“Hey, you! The King in his study?” she asked.
“I… I don’t know, Miss. I just serve him his food and that’s it.”
I felt it before I realized she slapped me.
“Disgusting rat. What’s your job then, if”
“Serena!” a voice called out.
“Quite the temper today,” he chuckled.
Her eyes narrowed.
“Your Highness,” she croaked out.
“I just wanted to know if the King is in his study, and this mistake of a fool couldn’t respond.”
I bit my lip, trying to stop myself from crying. My cheek stings.
A young man approached us fine looking, quite simple and handsome. He didn’t have the aura of danger like that King.
“He’s in a meeting with the Elders,” he responded.
He looked at me with disinterested eyes.
“You may leave,” he said.
I hurried away, leaving them to their talks.
I got to the kitchen, and Nai saw me first.
“By the gods! What happened to you?”
“I went to ask if the King was ready for his break, and while I was told he wasn’t there, I quickly walked back. Met a certain Miss Serena.”
“Who is she?”
“I’m surprised you don’t know who she is,” said another maid.
“She is the King’s bride-to-be. The rumors are that she’s more cruel than him.”
“Cruel? She is bad-tempered, but I don’t think cruel,”
“Kaia, you think a dragon is nice,” she retorted.
The maid continued, “Glad you only got a slap. She had a maid killed who spilled tea on her by mistake.”
I shivered.
King Kael’s POV
“Why did you call for the meeting, Elders?” he said mockingly.
“King Kael, the next Blood Moon is coming, and you need to get a mate by then.”
“I told you that I don’t have a mate. Moreover, I’m planning on marrying Serena.”
Elder Ezra replied, “A fine choice, sire, but still not a mate. Having a mate will make you stronger and strengthen your hold to the throne. You already know that the secret sect is after you cruelly. Moreover, I hear that the Vampire Lord has gotten his mate.”
I seethed with anger. “And is he a threat?”
Elder 3: “Well, a lot of people think you’re mad, and that’s why you’re being punished.”
Elder Ezra: “That’s a cruel thing to say.”
I laughed, “’Cause they are right. Madness runs in my blood. When is the next Blood Moon?”
“In four months.”
“A lot of people have eyes on the throne, Kael. Be careful.”
I laughed like the madman that I am.
I heard his laughter before approaching the throne room.
“What did the sleazy council of elders want now?” Kael’s beta said.
Eldris smirked. His father was very loyal to my father, and luckily he was found worthy of being my beta keeping everything and everyone in line when I go into seclusion.
I replied that they wanted the same thing as always for me to find a mate before I grow weaker and someone gets my throne,” I said mockingly.
Eldris: “Who in their right mind would go against you?”
King Kael: “Clearly stating that the vampire king has gotten his mate and it’s an indirect threat to me.”
Eldris: “That’s bullshit. The secret sect doesn’t give a damn about you. It’s those cursed elders scheming again. I will set spies on them, let’s know what they are planning. Lest I forget, Serena is here to see you. I saw her yelling at everyone. Your brother didn’t want to deal with her issues.”
Kael: groaning “Ugh, that damn harpy. Not today. Get me the seer immediately.”
Eldris: “What do I tell your crazy bride?”
Kael: “Figure something out.”
Eldris: “You don’t want some harpy pussy today?” laughing
Kael: “Fucking bastard.”
Serena’s POV
“What!” I shrieked. “He can’t be busy. I came all the way to see him!”
Eldris: “Well clearly you weren’t informed.”
“Of course I wasn’t! Listen, you little bastard of a bitch”
Eldris: growling, eyes turning gold “You’ll watch your mouth. And don’t ever disrespect my mother. I don’t like you, and you don’t deserve to be Luna.”
He passed me while hitting my shoulder.
“Damn you!”
I turned around and left.
I think I need to join my dad in his plans.
ELARA’S POV
I hurried to serve the king his supper. I got to the door, with my voice like nails:
“Your Majesty, your meal is ready,” I whispered, begging the Moon Goddess he wasn’t inside.
“Come in,” a voice almost growling responded within.
My heart stopped for a second. The guards opened the door and I entered. He looked different from when he sat on the throne. Right now, he looks tired and moody and someone who has so much on him. His eyes met mine the greenest eyes ever. I stopped breathing. He looks breathtaking.
“Do you always stare?” he startled me.
“I’m sorry, Your Majesty,” I begged.
“Drop it and leave.”
I did that immediately.
“Wait. Come back here.”
I froze.
“Are you deaf?”
I slowly turned. “No, Your Majesty.”
“What’s your name?”
“Elara.”
“Elara… what an unusual name. What’s that scent you use?”
Scent? I thought the only scent was that of sweat and the kitchen witch spit.
Kael: “I asked you a question.”
“None, Your Majesty. I don’t use any.”
Kael: “Hmmm. Strange. You can go.”
I quickly took my tiny legs like twigs in a storm. While rushing out, I bumped into someone.
“What is wrong with me today? I’m sorry, please”
A musical voice laughed. “No, it’s okay, child.”
I raised my eyes and saw a middle-aged woman who looked warm and smelled of wild berries and berth. She looked at me with pity but something else.
“You poor child. You have been through so much. But things are about to change. Hopefully, you choose the right side.”
“I’m confused. Right side?”
“Go on,” she said. “Let me go to the King.”
I left and kept thinking what she meant by that.
Today is just a weird day.
Mara’s POV:
“Your Majesty, you look miserable.”
Kael: “Took your cursed time.”
“Now, now, calm down. The King shouldn’t curse or be in this terrible mood.”
Kael: “I can be in a terrible mood for all I want.”
“Hmm, it’s getting worse,” I murmured.
Kael: “I can barely sleep at night. The headaches… and always seeing a gray wolf so beautiful, with a unique scent and the blood moon is a few moons away. I’m not getting weaker, instead, I’m losing my conscience… that I’m sure of.”
“I understand you, my boy,” I said, lifting his face and looking deep into his eyes. “The answers you seek are closer than you think… but it might not be something you’ll like.”
Kael: “I’m tired of your parables, old woman. Tell me what I need to know and what to do before I… hmm… before I turn into a”
“A monster with no soul,” I finished.
“Here, I brought you a tincture to help with sleep and nightmares.”
Kael: “All those herbs and donkey’s assess”
“No donkey’s ass in this one, but pigeon poop,” I laughed at his facial expressions.
“Hmm, I saw something. Dearest Kael, have you tried reaching out to your father about the whereabouts of your mother and what happened?”
Kael: “The old fool has his lips tight shut.”
“Be careful, Kael. Always look before you see.”
Kael: “What bullshit is that? Always with your nonsense,” laughing. “Thank you. Know that I take you as my family. You’ve done more for me than my father or mad half-brother.”
laughing “Oh, sweet boy. You carry so much on your shoulder. By the Moon Goddess, I pray she chooses right.”
Kael: “Hmmm… what was that?”
“Shhhhh… take this.”
Kael: “Tastes like donkey ass…”
laughing “Go to sleep.” singing
Kael: “Hmmm…” drowsily
He fell asleep and I left.
I met Eldris on the way.
“Don’t disturb him. I gave him”
Eldris: “What can we do to help? He is starting to get restless.”
“With things I see, everything isn’t that simple.”
Eldris: “I just received a letter that his father is coming, and all the family members from both sides of the family are coming.”
“This breeds trouble. Look after him, please. He needs someone who is loyal and loves him.”
Eldris: “I understand. Absolutely. Where are you heading to?”
“The kitchen, dear.”
Elara POV:
I have been silent.
Still thinking about what she said making the right choice.
Suddenly, my mark burns.
“Augh!” I quickly tried to place a cold rag on it.
Mara: “Is it always like this?”
I turned around in fright and dropped the rag.
“I’m sorry, miss. I don’t know… You were there”
Mara: “Come here, let me see it. Hmm, you’re burning up. That’s an unusual birthmark. Who are your parents?”
Is she asking because she worries about me? Or the farmers… and those who died during the raid?
Mara: “You don’t want to talk. You’re a smart girl.”
I hissed in pain.
“Hmm… I feel worse. This hasn’t happened before.”
Mara: “It’s because the blood moon is coming.”
Can she read my mind? I wondered… and then everything went blank.
Mara: “She fainted.”
In my arms, I held her close.
“Oh, precious child. You’ve seen more suffering for someone your age.”
??? “What did you do to her?” a shrill voice yelled.
Mara: “You must be her Kaia.”
Kaia: “How did you know my name?”
Mara: “That’s not important. Where’s your room? She has a fever.”
Kaia: She carried her like she weighed nothing. Lycans are truly exceptional.

Mara: “You must be her Kaia.”
Kaia: “How did you know my name?”
Mara: “That’s not important. Where’s your room? She has a fever.”
Kaia: She’s weirdly strong hmm of course she is Lycan are a different breed
“Mara’s POV
So, I headed back to my place, and my husband was there.
He asked, “How did it go?”
And I said, “I saw an unusual girl with an unusual birthmark. I think she’s the one I’ve been seeing in my visions. And I do not know what message the Moon Goddess has, but I will need to figure out what it really means. I need to reach out to my sisters. Can you help me get the things? I need to call them out because this person… I think she’s from the prophecy that was foretold to come. And she’s in a really bad state.
As for Kael, he’s getting worse, and it’s getting bad. But we’ll figure something out.”
“Come in. You need to rest, Mara. You have done a whole lot today. Moreover, your daughter has been having visions herself, so sit through it. I’ll be back.”
“Where are you going?”
“Well, I’m just going to check the animals… some plants for some herbs.”
I went in. I saw my daughter sleeping. My husband has been suspicious since this.
I just hope what I saw in the vision is not coming true.
Because if it is, then…
By the gods.
Kael’s POV – The King
I woke up with a start.
Mara’s tincture isn’t working ,
And I don’t want to get worried because a whole lot of things are not going as planned.
“Who’s there?”
It’s me”
So Eldris walks in
“Oh, you look like shit.”
“Oh, shut up.”
“I have some news for you. Your father and his people are coming to see you, your mother’s family are coming too because they still want to know what happened to their daughter. And it’s just going to be a whole lot in the castle. Hope you’re ready.”
“I do not have time for this. We need to get the warriors in check. We need to get them to start training. I have some catching up to do. Tonight, we need to go running the full moon will be out so we need to go for some exercise. I need to let out my wolf. He’s been going crazy recently. And I’ve been sensing some particular scents that I can’t quite figure out where they’re coming from.”
“You need to take it easy. You’re starting to lose your shit, and you definitely look like shit.
By the way, your brother had an issue with the warriors back at the training ground. You need to see to it.
And… something weird happened. Mara went to the kitchen. She has never gone to the kitchen before.”
“new slaves are coming in. So we need to disembark them.
And your cousin-sister is coming, and she wants to come in time before your father does, to decorate the palace. Serena said that she’ll be coming to spend a week, so we need to be careful.”
“By the gods, I do not have strength for this.
There’s something weird going on. I just can’t figure it out.”
Elara’s POV
I woke up with a start. The same old dream me, running in my wolf form.
And I know I do not have a wolf. I’ve not sensed it since when I turned sixteen, when people are supposed to have their wolf.
Kaia and Nia have their wolves. I’ve met them lovely, so beautiful.
“Glad you’re awake,” Nia whispered softly.
“You fainted, and a woman dropped you. She had incredible strength,” that’s what Kaia says
I laughed softly. “You know Kaia, she exaggerates a lot.”
“You were burning up, but right now you feel okay?”
“Yes.”
“You need to rest.”
“No, I need to go to the kitchen before the kitchen witch starts looking for me and gives me more punishments.”
“Where is Kaia, by the way?”
Nia responded, “She’s at the training ground with the guards. She’s infatuated with one of them.”
“I don’t blame her. They look really good.”
“You both need to keep your heads on your shoulders. They are Lycans and they are brutal, and cruel , But who knows… maybe one of them is her mate.
I pray the gods bless us with mates, because it’s really starting to get tough.”
“We’ll be fine.”
I stood up, changed, and went back into the kitchen.
“There you are,” the witch said. “I thought you were going to sleep all day, saying you had a fever and all that. Come, we’ve got meals to prepare. Line up. More slaves are coming in. I need to reassign you.”
“Where is Kaia?”
“I’ll go get her,” Nia responded.
Nia’s POV
I go to the training ground and I see why Kaia is so obsessed.
They are all shirtless—looking so fine, sleek, and handsome.
“Kaia, you’re drooling.”
“Oh stop! You scared me,” Kaia responded.
“The kitchen witch is calling you.”
“Oh, what does she want now? She’s passed out the forms.”
“Who are you looking at in particular?”
“The dark-haired one with a mark on his right arm. Oh wow, he looks good. I don’t know, I’m just so drawn to him.”
“Maybe he’s your mate,” Nia responded.
“There’s no such thing as that. If we had one, it would have gotten to us.”
“Don’t say that. Don’t give up hope.”
One of the guards approached.
“Do you girls want to train?”
“Oh no, we’re just maids. I’m the slave of the king.”
“And who says slaves can’t train?”
“Who are you?” Nia asked softly.
“Oh, I’m Eldris—the Beta.”
“Oh… nice to meet you.”
She looked up into his eyes, and everything changed. She felt drawn to him.
“Nia!”
“Kaia!”
Kaia, what are you guys doing here? The witch is rambling off!”
“Oh, bye,” Nia whispered, and they both ran into the kitchen.
But Nia and Kaia have been given a different responsibility.
Ella, one of the maids, whispered and said, “Oh, I wish I could go for a run tonight.”
“A run?”
“Yeah. It’s a full moon and they’re all going out for a run. Maybe we could join them.”
I smiled sadly, because I didn’t have a wolf.
Nai noticed Elara smiling sadly because she didn’t have a wolf. We knew about that when we were together, locked up in the cage. She told us.
That was how we became close.
Mara’s POV
I sat facing the mirror, after which I announced to my sister:
Mara:
“I am telling you, Sara, she is the one from my visions. The prophecy is coming true. The ancient warriors are coming back. And she has powers that I don’t even think she knows about or she can’t control. It’s suppressed. I couldn’t even feel her wolf.”
Sara responded:
“We need to keep calm. I will alert the others. I will hold a session and see what we can do. For now, we know what to do.”
Mara:
“Another thing bothers me. I saw a vision where my husband attacked the king. And he has been acting strangely these past weeks. Even Kina, his own daughter, doesn’t want to go close to him.”
Sara:
“We need to be careful, Mara. Not all we think we know is the truth. Try and figure it out, and if you can, just keep safe. Keep you and Kina safe. Okay? I will get back to you.”
The session ended.
“Mama,” a tiny voice spoke up. “I had another dream. It’s about Papa.”
Mara:
“Come here, my darling Kina. What is it?”
Kina:
“I saw Papa pushed off the king… on a cliff. He looked so strong. So powerful. I’m scared, Mama.”
Mara:
“Don’t worry. The Moon Goddess will be our aid.
god, it feels so good to run in our wolf form. Running… I can sense all the others running with me especially the eldris
Two hours later
Walking back into my room, I sensed something. A particular scent… from the kitchen.
(thinking):
What is it? It’s that damn scent again.
My wolf, Ragda, was so restless.
Ragda:
“Go to the kitchen.”
I walked toward the kitchen and it was the most beautiful scent ever.
And there I saw her. Singing a song.
Elara Pov:
I was singing until I sensed something.
I turned around in fright.
Elara:
“Oh! Your Majesty! You scared me!”
But he looked at me weirdly. I was scared.
Elara:
“Your Majesty, are you okay? Do you need something? I can quickly prepare it for you.”
He responded almost growling.
Kael:
“You… who are you? Why are you here?”
His eyes glared, tepid and wild.
Elara:
“Your Majesty, I work here. I work in the kitchen. I’m a maid. I cook.”
He approached me slowly, came close… sniffing my neck.
Kael (whispers):
“Why do you smell so good?”
Elara:
“I don’t know, Your Majesty.”
Kael:
“What is the scent you’re using?!”
He roared.
Kael:
“Are you trying to bewitch me?!”
He raised his hand and….
I just felt pain. And ringing in my ears.
Chaos. Purely.
Kael (panicking):
“What did I just do? What’s going on? I’m getting out of control!”
I screamed. My head was going mad.
Kael:
“What’s wrong with me?!”
Luckily, I was screaming when Eldris shouted and grabbed me.
Eldris:
“What the fuck is wrong with you?! What did you do that for?!”
He dragged me out.
I could hear Eldris shouting:
Eldris:
“Get the healer! Send for her, immediately!”
Voice:
“Where are you?”
Mara:
“Who’s there?”
Voice:
“The king needs your attention. Immediately.”
I felt dread.
Mara:
“Okay. Give me a moment.”
I picked up Kina and rushed out.
Elara’s pov… I could feel blood dripping down my neck, my shoulders.
Nia was crying again and Kaia was angry.
Kaia (to Nia):
“How dare he do that? Who does he think he is?”
Nia:
“Because he’s the king… and lycan
Elara:
“That’s not fair.”
Eldris:
Mara whats wrong with him
Luckily, I got there in time before the other guards could see him.
Mara:
“He’s unraveling, isn’t he?”
Eldris:
Yes. The curse is starting to take effect. I believe if he doesn’t get the one being spoken of in the prophecy…”
Mara:
“I don’t—”
Eldris:
“The girl could you check her?”
Mara:
“How is she?”
I laughed lightly.
Mara:
it’s just that you have a soft heart. Being a Lycan, caring for a slave
Eldris:
“It’s because I’m a Lycan:I’m stronger. I have a better life. It doesn’t mean one needs to be cruel.”
Mara::
“True. True.”
Elara (from inside):
“Who is it?”
Mara (laughing):
“It’s me.”
Mara:
“Oh, you poor child…”
She started treating me.
Mara:
my hand mistakenly brushed her mark
and I saw visions.
I saw a wolf howling at the moon.
A young woman struggling to give birth
Then I just gasped back.
Elara:
“Are you okay?”
Nai:
“Are you fine?”
Mara:
“Yeah. I’m okay, child. Here. Drink this to help you sleep.”
I had to take something. I had to take the pain away and heal properly.
Mara:
“You girls be good. Blessed night.”
And I left.
Kina was with me, but she didn’t say much.
Kina:
“Mama… that girl is special. She’s special, but she’s dangerous.”
Mara:
“I know. I know.”
Kael Pov:
That night Chaos. Fury.
That night, I dreamt.
I dreamt of the birds. The scent.
I dreamt about the beautiful girl .
But I couldn’t see her face.
She looked so familiar.
Just about reaching her
I woke up.
Two knocks on the door.
Eldris this walked in.
Eldris:
“We need to go. The village at the outskirts of the boundary has been attacked.”
Kael:
“Vampires.”
Elara Pov:
I was walking. I walked into the kitchen. I saw all the girls hoarded up, and Ella was whispering.
“What’s going on?” I asked.
“Oh,” Nia responded, “Ella is just telling us how a certain village outside of the boundary was attacked by vampires.”
“Oh. And now the king left early, two hours ago to check it out. When will all this end anyway, right?” Nia continued.
“Like, can’t they just come to a truce or something and—”
“A truce?” Ella shrieks. “Nah. Our king is too proud for that. He wouldn’t allow that to happen. But anyways, let’s get going. I am hearing some rumors that we’ll be having a ball soon lots of parties and we have to serve and serve and serve and serve. So, let’s let’s get back to work before the witch comes back.”
We all laughed. Now we head back to work.
Kael’s POV
We got there and it was a horrible scene, drained bodies, burnt-down huts, and even children
“How long ago was this attack?” I asked my Beta.
Eldris responded, saying, “About an hour or two.”
“Hmm. It wasn’t that long. How come we weren’t notified immediately that they were there? This is the outskirts. I remember telling you that it doesn’t matter if it’s the outskirts, there should be a certain alarm when they come in.”
Eldris went quiet.
Darius came and said, “your majesty we found this. There are runes, but it’s as if they were cleaned off or something.”
Kael responded, “So that means there was a protection around to signify us if they were in.”
“Eldris, send your spies to find out if they have a witch with them, and how powerful she is. And also, send word to the elders that we have a meeting. We need to figure out and double up the training for the warriors, and all my scouts outside tell them to come back home. It’s time we re-strategize.”
“Yes, Your Majesty.”
“Kael?”
“Yes, what is it?”
“I was thinking of training the slaves to fight and all.”
“Why would you want us to train those bastards?” Eldris winced. “I’m sure they have parents, but… so they won’t fall prey to any attacks at least they will have a fighting chance.”
Kael responded, “Do whatever you want to do, Eldris. You are my Beta, I need to run. Oh, and tell Crystal I need to see her. Until this time.”
“Okay.”
Selena's pov:
“Dad, you are an Elder why can’t you speak to the king to hasten up his marriage plans to me?”
Elder Ezra responded, “My dear, you know we will need to find his real mate. And if the blood moon comes and goes and he doesn’t have a mate, then you can be queen. And then you can take over.”
“Yes… father, how are you getting all this money and all these people to help you plan all this? Who are they?”
“Well, my darling daughter, it is his father. And the seer's husband, who is so blindsided by money. I would do anything to feel great to have power. So yes, you see what people can do for just an hour’s worth of power and money?”
“Hmm. Well, it’s going to be an interesting few weeks,” Selena said.
A Few Hours Later – Elara pov
I marched towards the king’s chambers with his meal. I knocked. I entered.
“Drop it,” he said.
I did, and turned back immediately.
“Hold on”
“Your Majesty… “
“I hurt you . But don’t expect any apology from me. I’m going to find out who you are. And if I find out that it’s a plan and a conspiracy against me, I will pull out your heart myself. Get me Phoebe.”
“Phoebe, sir? Your Majesty, who is Phoebe?”
“Phoebe. You do not know the lady in charge of the kitchen? You don’t know her name?”
“She never told us her name, Your Majesty.”
“Okay. Call her for me immediately. Get out of my sight.”
I walked towards the kitchen
Phoebe… the witch, I gue
I sat down, deep in t
Suddenly, we heard a cry.
“Who’s there?”
We froze in fear.
