Stakeout

A knock on the door woke him up. Oliver grunts as he sits upright, he turned his head a bit to see if his company was still there. He turned back his head when he confirmed her presence. He mutters a prayer like he always did everytime he wakes up. He was naked as the result of the sexual time he had the night before. He was reluctant to answer the person outside the door. Sometimes he would wish he was just an ordinary man living an ordinary life, no guns, no knives, no regular scent of blood, not being a murder. But he succumbs to hell, whether or not his life changes, he was going to hell.

The knock comes again. He knew it was definitely urgent. He puts on his shirt and shorts, afterwards he lets the person in.

It was Conan.

“What is it this time” Oliver said as he lights a cigar.

“It’s the deputy’s daughter, it seems the girl is sick, she’s having a seizure” Conan informs.

“Then put a call through to the fucking Doc” Oliver said.

“Okay boss” Conan said and leaves.

Oliver felt tiny arms wrap around him, a head rested on his back. It was the woman who he had fun with, he had no idea who she was or even catch her name. A smile form on his lips, he found it funny how women effects works, how he felt so comfortable being in her presence with no sense of danger.

“What’s your name” Oliver asked.

“Samantha, but everyone calls me Sam” The voice said. Oliver turned to face her. Her hazel eyes moved with his eyes, Oliver found her beautiful.

“Asian?” Oliver asked while he moved his hands to her breast. He cups them with both of his hands, rubbing on her budded pink nipples. She turned him on.

“Paternal” She had whispered while she was trying not to moan. She couldn’t believe she would be succumbing to a man she had hated her whole life, the man she wants to avenge.

“You look familiar, have we met?” Oliver said.

“I wish we had” Sam said in a sensual tone. She got his hands off her body as she was getting sensitive, instead, she moved her hand to his shorts. She dips her hand in and begins to touch his hardness. Oliver pretends not to feel affected at first but he couldn’t help it, he let out a moan while she whack his d**k. In no time, he came on her hand. Sam reluctantly lick him. Since it was a bitch profile she was putting on, she doesn’t want to come off suspicious so she would do anything to get herself hidden.

“You are one of a kind Sam, do you want to live here, with me?” Oliver found himself saying without much thought.

“It’s okay to say no” Oliver said when he saw her hesitation.

“Yes!__ I will” she said with a fake smile.

**************

“He’s going to let her go eventually, all I need is tp speak with him, get him back into his senses” Theodore said to Dreco.

“Why do you think so, Oliver is ruthless”

“But careful, he wouldn’t go overboard, killing a man of the law’s daughter could get him into a whole hell of trouble, everyone owns their demons whom is always waiting to be awakened, do you know what unleashes the demon?” Theo lectured Dreco.

“I’m poor at guessing” Dreco admitted with a smile that immediately faded in the split second.

“Revenge, losing one’s loved ones is same as a rebirth, it makes us grow stronger, wiser, anything a demon possess, so he wouldn’t dare fuel the law’s anger”

“Right” Dreco agreed.

Presently, they were seated in a car, staking out near Oliver’s domain. He had dismissed all of his other men and stick to his right hand man only.

“Who is that?” Theo asked Dreco when he sighted a man in suit come out of a car in front of Oliver’s home. Before Theo had asked about him, Dreco had taken a photo and sent it to their system controller for a background check on the man.

“Kane is on it” Dreco informed.

Few minutes after, Kane confirmed the man’s identity. It turned out he was a doctor in one of the best hospitals in Chicago.

“I wonder what dirt he got on this one” Theo said while he goes through the man’s info.

“But why would a doctor come here in this time of the day to a criminal’s home, I’m sure he would want to keep his connections a secret since he’s so fancy” Dreco implied.

“Must be a urgent situation” Theo said nonchalantly.

“Someone’s hurt” Dreco said.

“I wonder who it was, must be a big deal to call for a million worth specialist” Theo said.

“What if it’s the Chief’s daughter” Dreco implied.

Theo knew the possibility is high. He couldn’t afford to lose the girl cause the Chief will be out for his head if he does.

“Let’s roll” Theo said and gets out of the car before Dreco could succeed in changing his mind. Dreco frowned, he thought it wasn’t a good idea to go into the enemy’s domain without backup but he had to tag along, he trust Theo in all his risky decisions which had always turned out good, he decide to trust on this too.

Four miles away from Oliver’s house, a woman in blue faded tees, leather trousers with a black coat worn untop, sunshades that covered her big dark circles staked out. She held her camera to her eyes, taking of photo of everyone and everything that goes on around Oliver. She was a reporter that just got back from suspension, the reason was her consistent stalking of her preys, hatred from higher ups. And now she was to find another story to work on and it was on crime lords and drugs which brought her to getting to know about Oliver.

She had captured every step Theo and Dreco took towards Oliver’s house and amongst them is a picture of Dreco staring right back at her. She looks away from her camera and into the reality. She saw him whisper something into his partner ear. She saw Theo shrug but Dreco had stared back. She stares back from her camera and zooms the man’s face. She could swore he saw him mouthed a ‘get out’ to her and then looked forward.

“Who was that” She whispers to herself.
