" Mila! Are you awake?" Kace's voice filtered through my head and i let out a groan as my mouth feels so dry and my eyes heavy. I don't know what has happened or where am I or Kace has came to my room to wake me up on the way to his office.

I slowly opened my eyes as they feel like glued together.

The room I was in dimly lit and Kace is hovering above me. Concern and worry evident in his face.
