Ava's POV: 

I jolted awake as someone tried to take Jagger from my arms. There was a dim light in the nursery and my sleepy head didn't catch up to the surroundings so I pulled Jagger into my arms and they tightened around him.

" Ava! It's me." Vincenzo's voice came out as a whisper in the silence. My body loosened and i let him take Jagger from my arms. I came into the nursery to put Jagger to bed and I was singing a lullaby and held him in my arms and fell asleep with him.
