ALPHA WILLIAM POV:

William flames is the alpha lycan king in Westland, and unarguably the strongest amongst all werewolves.

His late father was also a strong werewolf, and Williams took after him, even I'm his built.

Alpha Williams had ocean blue eyes and was huge and strong, not only was he an alpha but he was also a successful business man, a billionaire at that.

He had properties all over the province , cars, houses, lands, and he was a kind young man too, he had funded a lot of lome werewolves and opened hospitals.

He was just 28, but had supercede his father in kindness and power, everyone loved alpha williams.

He had women at his beck and call, but hadn't found his mate yet that is why an event was organized for all the werewolves to gather so he could find his mate, there's no way he won't find her it all the werewolves gathered.

The event was to take place in southern America and alpha ray was the host.

“Your convoy is ready my lord “ Leo alpha williams beta said.

Leo was also a fine man and very committed to serving alpha Williams.

“Any news from my brother yet?” Alpha Williams asked.

“Yes, he called and said he won't make it for the event that his car got caught up”

“Well, send cars to him, he can't afford to miss this special event”

“ He… said there would be no need for that, he stated that he would come see you personally a day after tomorrow”

Alpha Williams sighed.

“He's just avoiding finding his mate, he's scared of commitment “

“And what are you scared of? You seem nervous”

“I don't know Leo, what if I don't find her, it would be shame you you know”

“ I'm certain you will, there's no missing her now, relax your nerve… if you want we could delay our coming till you feel better “

“Thanks Leo “ Alpha Williams sighed, 28 and still no Luna to call his own, people had started to call him a lone wolf in secret.

It was Leo's idea to host this summoning of the werewolves, according to him there's no way his mate wouldn't attend, but if he didn't find her then it would be confirmed that he's a lone wolf, that's what he was scared of.

Few minutes later, Alpha Williams confirmed to Leo that he was ready to go, accompanied by other powerful alphas and their Lunas.

The cars arrived the venue just in time, the alpha lycan kings presence was announced and alpha Williams stepped out of his car in confidence and style, it was now or never.

Paparazzi were everywhere and alpha Williams Maintained his cool so as not to show weakness as expected of him as an alpha, if only George,his half brother was here, at least he had Leo.

Just then a strong sweet smelling scent hit him, he couldn't believe it, did he really find his Luna?

He walked faster into the arena and his wolf kept jumping inside of him in excitement.

“MINE” he snarled, turning to look at Leo, he smiled broadly and Leo was excited and made sure the paparazzi didn't stand in his way.

As he walked in, he saw her, the prettiest girl he had ever seen in his life, she too must have Perceived him and was walking towards him fluttering.

“MATE” their wolves said in unison, he reached for her and drew her into his arms in a passionate embrace.

The embrace lasted for a while and the crowd stared at both of them in excitement, they suspected the alpha had found his mate even before the event had started properly.

Alpha Williams let go of Jessica reluctantly to address the eager crowd.

“Let the celebration begin, I've found my Luna queen” he said lifting Jess into his arms, she seemed excited but at the same time sad, maybe because he was too confident.

The crowd buzzed, some heart broken girls broke down in tears while some others hugged themselves, Estelle was beyond heart broken, she watched as her dream man lifted her best friend into his arms and pronounced her as his LUNA, she ran into the restroom holding her chest, Jess quickly sighted her and motioned for the alpha lycan to drop her down, the crowd was confused.

“You can't just walk up to me and pronounce me Luna queen because we're destined to be mates without me approving”

“What?”

“Excuse me” Jess said, running after her best friend.

“That didn't just happen, did Luna just reject him? No woman had ever rejected him before, why his Luna, what is going on?”

Estelle dashed into the restroom crying uncontrollably, she had always loved the alpha lycan, call her crazy but she had always loved a man she never met hoping that one day he'd be has.

And now he found love in another, her best friend.

She should be happy that at least he's destined to be with her best friend and not another random lady.

Why is she this hurt, she never knew she loved the alpha lycan this deeply.

The bathroom door flung open and Jess stood behind her.

“Estelle?”

She quickly wiped off her tears and stood up facing Jess smiling awkwardly.

“Yes, hey… bestie, you're here, why are you here, you shouldn't be here, you should be with your mate”

“I rejected him” Jess said bowing her head.

“What? No, why”

“I can't be with him if you don't approve it”

“Don't make Hasty decisions, think this through”

“I have, I can always have another mate if the goddess approves, I can't stand hurting my best friend”

“It's no big deal okay, I didn't really like him

like that, I'm infact proud that my best friend is going to be the Luna queen” Estelle said giving Jess a fake grin.

“No.. I”

Just then Jessica's phone buzzed, her dad was calling, it was the first time he had called her in years.
