When I got visited by Jess in person and specially invited to grace her wedding I had smiled devilishly to myself wishing my best friend had just let me be instead of inviting trouble into her marriage.

So a night before the wedding I had weakened the hold of the chandelier with the help of a local mechanic secretly.

It wasn't in my plan to end Jess' life but if that happened, well farewell, my plan was to cripple her at least, it's not Jess’ fault she got entwined with alpha Williams, but the least she could do was reject him.

I was slowly turning into a maniac, I guess this is what happens when you love someone you've never met and the person doesn't love you and your best friend steals him from you.

Jess is selfish for accepting alpha Williams, she had the choice to decline but no she decided to hurt me,not regarding how many times I've helped her in the past supporting her even when her father threw her out for recklessly getting pregnant and having no idea who got her pregnant, well yes, I took her to the party where she had her one night stand but I didn't ask her to get pregnant?

Everything is so vogue now and I'm confused, I shouldn't be hurting my best friend, she too has gone through the worst for my sake and doesn't deserve to be paid back this way but how can I cope with seeing her so happy in the arms of the one I love, call me crazy but I've been obsessed with alpha Williams for ages and if I can't have him nobody will not even my supposed best friend.

Alpha ray advised I go with Alpha Williams to the hospital at Westland on their behalf and I was more than happy to, to watch her die slowly or if she didn't I do it myself but Alpha Williams was always there by her side, he loved her deeply, I wish he loved me this way.

She regained consciousness few days later and I offered to follow them back to their home to take care of Jess myself, how adorable right? Jess could never guess I was behind the chandelier incident.

I couldn't sleep with the loud moaning coming from the chambers, I went through hell trying to ignore the sound and Jess’ annoying cries.

Blocked my ears with a pillow, to no avail, my hatred for her suddenly grew bigger so this morning when they accidentally bumped into me, I gave them a piece of my mind but playfully.

While they were away, I thought of all the wicked things I could do to Jess that didn't involve exposing myself then one evil thought crossed my mind, this will definitely work out, I smile from ear to eat.

“Welcome home love birds” I greeted them as they cuddled walking in few hours later smooching.

“Sorry, we always forget you're here” alpha Williams said hugging Jess tight, she can enjoy the love for the mean time while it lasted.

“My bad, I should be letting you two enjoy your honey moon, sorry for always interrupting, I'll be leaving tomorrow anyway, Jess here looks strong enough”

“I'm definitely getting better” she responded with a smile.

“I'm so sorry I've left you all by yourself all this while” she said freeing herself from alpha Williams embrace and holding my shoulders.

“It's okay I understand, you're newly married now and I have to let you enjoy your marriage”

“I have a request though”

“What's that?”

“Can you not leave tomorrow? Stay for a while longer, we have a lot of catching up to do”

“Oh no, I can't do that, I don't want to be the one to ruin your honeymoon”

“We're not complaining, and you are not ruining our honeymoon, we haven't even started our honeymoon yet, right baby?”

“Right” alpha Williams replied “you're welcome to stay here for as long as you want “

“Aww “ I said blushing with emotions as I drew Jess into a tight embrace, hearing my alpha Williams say that to me brightened my evening, just then the doorbell rang.

“That's beta Leo “ alpha Williams said. “I'll leave you two here to have some lady time while I go hangout with my beta on the porch.

“Alright hunny, love you” Jess said as they exchanged pecks on each cheek, enjoy Jess, enjoy his love while it lasted.

It was late at night and I watched alpha Williams walk out to hang by the porch as usual and I followed him out, he seemed startled to see me.

“You're up?” He asked me.

“Yeah, can't sleep and you?”

“Nah… I just like to hang out here before going to bed, Jess is fast asleep”

“I see, care for a drink? I could pour us a drink if you don't mind”

Taking a long stare at me he finally nodded and I got two champagne glasses and wine, no I'm not going to add a love portion of that's what you're thinking, that could work though but that should come late if my plan A doesn't work, I doubt if a charm would work on alpha Williams though.

“So what attracted you to my best friend I mean apart from the usual mate to mate bond?”

“ that should be.. her personality, her whole approach to everything, her calmness and most of all, her smile “

“Wow, not surprised though, Jess has always warmed her way into the hearts of many with her personality and that ever glowing smile”

“Yeah” he said smiling to himself and I could see the man was deeply in love, not like I care.

“Her daughter takes after her in that stead, her personality… the smi..”

“I'm sorry what?” he cut me short as I pretended to say the words absentmindedly.

“I said her daughter took after her”

“What daughter?”

“Jess has a daughter, she didn't tell you, oops I was not supposed to say, forget I said anything”

“That's unbelievable, Jess has a daughter? Explain your statement to me and no I won't forget you said anything, speak!” He said, and his words are my command, smile.
