I slept early last night and when I woke up Williams was no longer by side, I turned and found him sitted at the end of the bed backing me, I try to hug him from behind but he's not responsive, I try to kiss him but he avoids my lips like I was poison.

What's wrong?” I asked, this was so unlike my mate

“Can you let me be for now?” he said in an angry tone, beta Leo must have discussed something about the pack that must have angered him but he didn't seem angry last night before I slept.

“What? What's bothering you my Lord, did something happen?”

He stands up and tries to walked out of the room but I hurry towards him and blocked his way.

“You have to tell me what's going on, you can't go out angry at me like this”

“Get out of my way” he shouted on me, no this can't be my mate, what's happening?

“Babe, what is going on? I'm pretty sure I have nothing to do with what's making you angry, I'm your queen and I have every right to know what's bothering you, please… open up to me”

“Did you have daughter out of wedlock?” he blurt out, my ear drums ring and I'm in shock, how did he know

“I guess it's true” he said pushing me out of the way but I hold on to him fast.

“I'm sorry “ I cried,he pushes past me and walks out of the room hastily.

I was planning to tell him maybe after our honeymoon, I didn't mean to hide this from him but how did he find out the only person aware of this is my family and my best friend, oh no ESTELLE, did she really? No.

I walk out of my room, my wolf became so furious and fast as I leaped to Estelle's room and banged her door, few minutes later she opened up.

“What is it Jess, do you want to bring down this door?”

“Why would you do this to me?”

“Do what to you?” She said feigning surprise, I knew very well she was jealous of me getting married to the alpha lycan but I never thought she would go to this length.

“How dare you share a secret I told you to my husband, you were In no position to tell tell him okay?”

“Someone had to tell him, Jess, you and your family deceived him and I only redeemed him”

“That's a lie Estelle, you did this for your own selfish interest, you're so pained that I got married to alpha Williams instead”

My wolf is so mad and she moves with impulse and gives Estelle a hot slap on her face and she pulls my hair, my wolf is ten times stronger than hers especially now that I was mated to the lycan, I pinned Estelle to the floor and gave her the beatings of her life, alpha Williams came in and quickly pulled me away from her.

Now I know I should have been more open in my courtship with Alpha Williams even before marriage, if only I had told him Estelle had always wanted him and if only I had told him I had a child, Estelle wouldn't have the upper hand now.

I watched my mate carry the severely scratched and battered Estelle into her room, he came out minutes later and I try to touch him for him to at least hear me out but he shoved me away.

“Hello doc, can you come over to my crib immediately? No it's not the Luna, but a family friend, alright I'll send you the address”

I fall on the ground shedding hot tears as my world had come crashing down, why did Estelle have to do this? She's supposed to be my best friend, my soul sister, why did she have to pay me back this way, I love Estelle with the whole of my heart and if anyone had told me she would betray me this way I would have dismissed the person immediately.

I didn't know when I fell asleep on the floor and was woken up by the constant ringing of the doorbell, I get immediately wiping off my tears and going to open the door.

“Oh yeah… I was… upstairs in the kitchen, chopping onion,that's why…” I stammered.

“Doc” Williams said coming downstairs”this way please “ he said leading the doc into Estelle's room, he ignored me like I didn't even exist.
