I turned towards Lena when her breathing normalized. I knew she had fallen asleep from the trauma she went through. It was my fault totally, and I felt guilty. I didn’t want to force her into submission, but every time she tried to escape, something snapped inside me. I couldn’t control the anger spiraling within me.
