I watched my mom gaze around her in wonder. “I have never been on a helicopter before.”

“Now you can, mom. This one belongs to Zephyrus.” I couldn’t help but feel proud of my mate. He seemed to read my mind and held my gaze longingly. I knew what was going on in his mind.
