Chapter 3

Lilly POV

I laid flat at the back seat as my mind raced through various thoughts of how Damien Luciano was certainly going to destroy me for his father's death.

Now I actually think I would miss that jail, can't I just go back and serve whatever sentence they give me, than I get judged by this heartless man.

My heart beat increased at each second by best as I sat at the car already knowing my fate, my ultimate judgement soon awaited me.

“Miss Lilly, we are here,” Sam stated, pulling back from my thought as he then pulled over right in front of the Luciano main house.

“Ohh, okay,” I responded in a slightly nervous tone as I then stepped right out.

I walked slowly as my heart raced even more and then stood right in front of the Luciano main door frozen, unable to make any move as I feared for what was opposite that door waiting for me.

And I seriously can't believe I'm back here again so quickly, and to make matters worse I'm back with the name of an alleged murderer.

“Miss Lilly, you have to go in now,” Sam uttered as he then opened the door wide open, his eyes on me, waiting blankly for me to go in.

I can do this okay, the moment I see Damien, I will just do the first right thing that comes to your mind, kneel and beg.

I took the first step and then followed Sam right at his back, as we both walked for a while, and then he suddenly stopped and faced me.

“Is there an issue, Sam?” I asked curiously.

“Well you see, you can't be meeting the new head looking like, you know,” he responded as he stared right down at me with an irritated look.

Ohh right, I do seem like crap, but he didn't have to say and look at me that way though, jeez.

“Ohh, okay, so where do I go to have my bath then?” I asked with a fake smile on my face.

His hands instantly pointed towards the door by the left,“ right in there Miss Lilly, you will have an hour to bathe, get dressed and also eat something, and then I will be right here to lead you to where the new head office is.”

His eyes stared right at me, and I could just tell he couldn't wait for me to leave his sight at that moment.

“Sure okay, thanks,” I replied and then swiftly entered the left room, and ohh my things definitely changed a lot during my past two weeks in prison.

The room looked entirely different from how rooms here normally looked, but it was still nice, I have to admit, and for some reason the amount of food on the table was very uncomfortable.

It made me feel like this was my last supper before my execution, which honestly could be true very soon.

“Well I have an hour to my death, and I better enjoy it and be quick, to avoid that very judgmental look on Sam again,” I said to myself as I walked right towards the bathroom.

And then my stomach suddenly rumbled loudly.

“Yeah, I probably should just eat first,” I muttered to myself as I turned right around and sat in front of where the food was and then ate.

Exactly 30 minutes passed, and I was quite filled up, but now I have only thirty minutes to get bathed and dressed before grumpy Sam comes back in.

I rushed right towards the bathroom, had my bath and got dressed and at exactly another thirty minutes, I heard a knock on the door.

“ I'm on my way out, Mr Sam,” I responded as I walked right towards the door and came out.

His eyes scanned all over me and this time he seemed less displeased, so that's better than before, I guess.

“The head is already waiting now, so let's go,” he said, and then we walked right to his office.

And reality came right back into me, I was really about to see the ruthless and richest CEO in all of London, The Damien Luciano.

“You can go in now Miss Lilly,” Mr Sam

spoke out, and I got right back from my daze as he opened the doors.

I took a deep breath in as I swallowed my breath and then walked right in.

There he was, Mr Luciano Damien, seated, his tall large build that commanded respect and those insane beautiful red eyes of his drew everyone in.

The room instantly became cold as I froze, stunned at the sight of him.

I can't believe he was this incredibly handsome, I mean I have seen him a few times but never really saw his entire face since I was always bowing.

Is this really the man they call ruthless, but I could see why they called him that as his red piercing eyes stared right at me with no emotion.

“Stop standing and walk forward, miss killer,” Damien stated in a stern tone as his eyes still stared at me with no emotion.

I instantly fell right on my knees with my head bent as I began to beg for my life, as those yes of his definitely seemed to know no mercy.

“I swear to you Mr Luciano, I really did not kill your father, I swear this was certainly a misunderstanding, I would never do such a thing, so please don't utterly destroy my life,” I voiced right out in fear, with my head still bent down.

“Get up, Lilly,” he said, his tone cold.

“Please, I beg of you, I am just an innocent soul that wants to become a writer and date a hot Brazilian man, I swear I didn't murder your father!” I pleaded, my head still down as various crazy thought rushed through my head.

“ Don't make me repeat myself, Lilly,” he stated in a commanding voice that instantly made me get right up.

I raised my head slowly to see his face and I think I saw a hint of a smirk on his face, but I'm sure I'm just imagining things now.

“Lilly.”

My eyes instantly faced right back down, and then I responded, “Yes sir.”

“Walk forward.” he commanded in a stern tone.

And I immediately began to walk slowly right towards him as I held my breath in fear.

“Walk faster, Lilly, I don't have all day,” he said as his eyes glared right at me.

“Yes, sir,” I instantly responded as I got right in front of his desk.

“Now then, it's finally nice to see the murderer of my father's face,” he said, still with a smirk on his face.

“Now just how exactly do I deal with you,”

Fearing just what punishment he was about to call out, I voiced right out, “Please don't I really I'm innocent I swear, if you could just let me prove —.”

“So you want to prove yourself, huh?” he asked as he cut me right off.

“Yes, I really do, so please just give me a chance,” I pleaded as I held both my hands tightly with my head bent downwards again.

“Well, then you have five seconds right now to convince me to give you a chance, Lilly.”

“ Wait? What!”

“Five—”

Wait five seconds, what exactly could I say that would actually convince him to change his mind right now.

“Four— three—”

Ohh no, this is bad, if I don't think of something right now, I will actually be done for.

“Two—”

His eyes stared at me with a smirk on his face, as he was just about to call at the last second.

I really need to think, think, just what exactly could I say that will save my life right now!

“One—”

Just say something Lilly or you are done for !!
